I’ve been working with Ken over the last year and already see the positive changes in my body and how it relates to my golf. I have achieved one of my major goals since working with Ken – winning a tournament – NSW 2016 Trainee Championship and QLD 2016 Trainee Championship. My posture and overall stability has improved dramatically. Ken’s knowledge of the golf swing and biomechanics have helped me to continually progress and remain injury free. I recommend Ken to anyone who wants to go to the next level in their golf game.

Ken is the best in the business. Before I met Ken I was your classic case of the mid-40’s professional male whom, after years of running, ill-disciplined upper-body fitness and sitting at a desk, was breaking down.
Ken has been transformational for me over the last 2 years through a combination of his functional training program and focus on good disciplines around stretching, flexibility and stability. No more bad back, torn hamstrings or calf muscles and with a body that feels far stronger and flexible.
Ken is highly technically proficient with his sports science and knowledge of the body, but most of all he genuinely cares and is authentic – he practices what he preaches!

I have worked with Ken now for almost 2 years, having returned to golf after a 20 year layoff. Ken’s fitness programs have helped me build strength and flexibility targeted specifically at golf – improving my performance but also helping with injury prevention. He also gives me specific practice programs for my golf, focused on our agreed improvement areas based on my latest stats. These programs have been fabulous in ensuring I make the most of my limited practice time. Not only do I thoroughly enjoy working with Ken, but my handicap has now moved from mid-teens down solidly into single figures.

I have been participating in Ken’s Fitness for Golf sessions for 2 years and thoroughly enjoy it. Ken is a most enthusiastic and skilled trainer. His sessions are very well prepared and caters for each individual participant through especially designed exercises. Classes are always varied. Ken’s in depth knowledge of the golf game and physical training makes a very effective combination. I personally feel a lot stronger and my golf game has certainly improved in the form of shot distance, endurance and balance

I have been training with Ken for two years now and have seen my strength fitness and mobility improve dramatically. I am in my sixties and a golfer. Balance and mobility are important to me. Ken always keeps the sessions interesting and explains the benefit of each set. His knowledge of physical fitness, muscle groups and the importance of stretching is in every session. I have been able to exceed my own expectations through his constant encouragement and explanation of exactly what we are doing and why. I would recommend Kens PT services to anyone.

Four years ago I realised middle age had caught up with my body I was a single figure golfer with lots of niggling aches and pains, a friend suggested group PT sessions with Ken Druce.
After a session with Ken my body always feels like its had a thorough workout. The mixture of ever changing strength, flexibility and aerobic exercises keep the sessions interesting and fun, which are so important in keeping me motivated.
Ken has a beautiful calm way of encouragement, no army style yelling just quite words of belief urging you on to do your best and complete another set. Perfect form is at the centre of Kens sessions, ensuring you get to know your body and how it moves effectively thus preventing injuries.
I now walk up the 18th with the same physical energy and form as I have hitting off the 1st!

Ken has made a real difference to my exercise regime. I have always been pretty fit and loved running. When I hurt my knee I was frustrated at not being able to run as much and felt bored and unfit with just walking. Training with Ken has meant working on my body as a whole and resulted in me being physically much stronger and fitter. I feel like I get a much better complete body work out and my core strength has improved significantly. This has helped me with other sports I enjoy such as skiing.
I have found this so useful I have even started my 14 year old son training with Ken to help give a more balanced ,functional approach to his exercise regime. He is football mad and trains 5 times a week but looking at him start out with Ken shocked me at his lack of core strength and stability. Through Kens training his overall function has significantly improved with less injuries during football season and better recovery.
I recommend him to anyone who wants a safe and balanced approach to his or her health and exercise regime.

I have been attending Ken’s personal training sessions and some small group sessions for approximately 2 years. I am pleased to say that during that time my core strength has improved noticeably. Ken has a vast knowledge of which will assist in improving your golf swing and general posture for golf, which translates into an improvement in your golf game.
He is always conscious of injury prevention and tailors exercises to suit your ability and challenges you to extend yourself without pushing me beyond my skill capacity. There are always warm up and cool down included in every session.
Since working with Ken my balance and flexibility have improved dramatically as has my overall strength. My H’cap has gone from 24 to an all time low of 17.8. I had my best ever 9 holes at my local course of 42 (6 over) a month ago and have won a number of competitions at my local club. I play on average 3-4 times a week now due to the help of Ken’s stretching and home exercises he has given me to do before and after I play.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Ken to anyone who wanted to improve his or her golf game and overall fitness. He makes hard work fun and rewarding.

I have been working with Ken for over 2 years after returning from living overseas for 8 years where I did not get the chance to play much golf due to business and travel commitments. I am now 57 years old and had found that I was losing both flexibility, mobility and strength in my hips and core muscles despite staying reasonably fit. These issues impacted my golf once I started to paly regularly as I was not able to maintain my posture during the swing and unable to consistently synchonise my swing movements.
In addition to seeing Ken as a swing coach, I started to work with Ken as a golf fitness coach, where he designed a program focused on improving my core strenth and flexibilty. What I particularly liked about Ken’s approach is that he spent time with me up front to assess my body in terms of areas of weakness and lack of flexibility with a program that is individually tailored to my specific needs. I work on my program on a daily basis and then see Ken every few months where he reviews my progress and then updates my program as I improve!
I understand that Ken worked at the AIS for 3 years, is an accredited Chek fitness coach, works with the AGU National Development Team and was ranked in the World’s top 200 golfers. Ken is a pleasure to work with, very encouraging but also frank in his feedback and what you need to do to improve. My handicap had reduced from 10 to 6 and I am throughly enjoying working with him.

I have been attending golf gym run by golf pro Ken Druce for 4½ years. In that time my handicap has moved from 11 into single figures with my best briefly dipping to 5.
Ken’s sessions concentrate on core strength, flexibility, balance and separation of the upper and lower body. Lately more cardio work has been added to the program. The sessions are always challenging but are most enjoyable. Ken works in a progression, so once an exercise is seen to be a little ‘too easy’ he will add a new dimension to keep the individual challenged.
Periodically Ken ‘tests’ each group member to identify individual strengths and weaknesses. He will then modify the group session for each individual according to his or her needs.
I have learnt a great deal about the golf swing and have significantly improved my driving length. My short game has also improved due to improved balance and better use of the body. Generally my golf has become a lot more consistent and I have a better overall understanding of the mechanics of the game.
Although I attend group sessions I always feel Ken is giving me individual attention and he is trying to extend me personally. I am stronger and fitter and feel great. I look forward to my gym sessions with Ken and really feel I am missing out if I can’t for some reason get to the gym.

I first met Ken in an attempt to get my golf game going. Regrettably, that ambition has fallen by the wayside. However, what did blossom was my core strength and general fitness.
Whilst on the golf driving range, Ken discussed his philosophy and approach to preparing one’s body for any new challenge. It made sense to me, and I swapped golf lessons for personal training twice a week.
I am no fan of gyms and gym equipment. Fortunately, Ken’s approach is refreshing and unique, at least in my experience. It is less about pushing heavy weights and more about getting all parts of your body working in sync. There has been great variety in the sessions too, so I’ve never been bored. I’ve been working with Ken for two years now and have never felt better. I would not hesitate in recommending Ken to anyone wanting to reconnect with their body.
